If you've ever been to the Marketplace at Downtown Disney, you've probably noticed the long lines outside of both the Rainforest Cafe and the T-Rex Cafe. Keep in mind, they are both operating under the same basic premise and belong to the same company- One just has dinosaurs is all.
The T-Rex cafe has an incredible bar just inside of its doors (opening? cave? I'm not sure how to describe it but it's definitely not a set of doors) And guests who would rather not wait in line (myself included) can walk straight to the bar when they see an available seat and still take advantage of the full menu.
It seems that this has been a big success since now the Rainforest Cafe has built their new lounge to accommodate guests. The lounge is not inside the bar, however. Rather, it is on the waterfront so it has a completely different feel to it.
Also attracting guests is the giant ball of fire that now shoots of the volcano every now and again. It can be seen from all over the marketplace and most people stop what they are doing to watch it go off. How does a giant ball of fire fit in with the vintage feel of the upcoming Disney Springs renovation? Beats me. But still, it's pretty cool.
